Croatia deserved to win for its tenacity and purpose keeping control of the ball throughout.

Brazil deserved to lose for its poor passing, chasing after every ball and unable to pry from Croatia. There was no hunger and lack of attempt to go after every ball unlike Korea or Japan players. They were just waiting for a loose ball.

After 20 years chasing after the Cup and at the standard they are playing may just need another 20 years or more.
