    • I read , read,  and read his long 50$ worth ( Audiooooooo ) grandmother,  great grandmother posts , yet I could not figure out what he bought ;D

    Is this normal for DHL Paket service (Duetsche Post)?

    My excitement having a tinge of frustration..

    Hopefully next week it gets on airship 😜

    • Ya.They either waiting load to be full or Q-ing. Can wait for 2 weeks sometimes. My last German order in Dec, waited for loading onto plane for 2 weeks. Duetsche Post.

    May I ask...what happens when the parcel arrives in Singapore and passed along to SingPost. How does SingPost contact you to complete the GST settlement? Is it via call or email or paper mail?

    Another question, the tracking number is not visible in SingPost at the moment. Will it be visible only after SingPost has taken possession of the parcel, and scanned it into their system?

    getting hold for GST payment is a hit or miss thing @ SingPost.
    i had a $2000 watch sent from Germany before. Germany side logistic was handled by DHL, local handling by SingPost. never got GST tabbed.

    • I ordered an Onkyo av amp from Germany some years ago cos no silver finish was available in sg. Same, DHL to Singpost. When the amp came nobody was home so I have to collect from the PO which I did. Staff forgot to ask me pay GST. Came to my house to collect the next day 😁

    • Mine was not subjected to gst. So for singpost I not sure. Its a long way back since I paid gst on a singpost last mile delivery.

    • Box1 arrived today. I wasn’t home, postman ask to leave at doorstep, I said okay. So nice of him.

    GST settlement also very smooth. I am pleasantly surprised & impressed! When parcel arrives, I get an alert on SingPost app. And I also saw email notice. I used SingPost app to pay GST. Can use CC, very convenient. After GST payment, the parcel goes through the local delivery process. Can track on the SingPost app only from the moment the parcel arrives in SG and got scanned into their system.

    Box2 still in Frankfurt 😅

    Box1 = right speaker

    Box2 = left speaker, isolation mat, xlr cables.

    • When opening the outer box, I was a little worried coz it looked bashed in.

    Then when I reached the inner (main) box, one side of the box was damp.

    Thankfully everything inside was intact & dry.

    Hooked up the single speaker, held my breath when I switched it on. Phew…power on properly.
