  • I have the standard version on Xbox game pass for pc.

But I might just buy the full deluxe version (discounted as part of Game Pass)

  • As much as l love the Warthog flight stick, it was a pain to have to remove my car pedals and strap in the flight rudder pedals when I wanted to play FS2020 or Star Wars Squadrons.

So this happened. Thrustmaster makes a similar one with different colors but this one sold for the same price and has the Airbus branding so I thought I?d get the different theme.

The overall construction is definitely more plastic. But it also has the HALL sensor used in the HOTAS Warthog so the movement feels a lot better than the PS4 HOTAS4.

Nice.  Will consider once I got the time to fly FS.

  • It's not as well built as the Warthog but I wanted the twist rudder control again :)

  • This one looks good too. Wonder if it turns out as plasticky as the Airbus. Pricing seems comparable.

  • I think Brunner is the only one that makes a FFB yoke at the moment .

  • Reposting this after the database crash..

FS2020 is now available on Xbox Series X. It is rocking what appears to be a solid 30fps in dynamic scaling to 4K resolution in Ultra settings.

What's cool is that because I bought the PC version, the Xbox version is also free! Along with the Deluxe Premium add ons I purchased. Have to admit for US$500, this Series X is pretty damn impressive. You would be hard pressed to get such a good performance on a PC costing twice or 3x that at the moment.

The good news is that Update 5 (coinciding with the Xbox release) also brought with it performance increases. In 2D - the improvements can be drastic. In VR - maybe about an average of 5fps or so more on my Quest 2 and Reverb G2 - but the 5fps average doesn't show the full picture. The performance charts show less "red" timings (micro stutter) so the overall impression is far more fluid and smooth in VR. Some have claimed a video quality drop but I haven't played enough to notice.

It is also playable on Series S (at lower fidelity levels - noticeable draw distance and lower resolution) and only works with digital licences.
