non numbered release, there was a restock last mth.

not sure if anyone is keen on this album, but i got the MIC version and the Optimal pressed version.

some pictures to share the difference, so you know what to look out for if you are planning to get this.


MIC pressing, supposed to be original and only sold in China.

in terms of listening, hands down optimal won.

darker background, more lifelike vocals and instruments.

even my cd was better than the pressing that was meant to be sold in China.

optimal pressed costs almost double but for sure worth it.

I usually do not buy these re releases in lp by universal. For these late 90s 2000s Chinese music, more often than not, I prefer them in cd format or tidal. The early lp release also so so only, you are not missing out much if you do not have it.
There's a strange phenomenon now, small number of the pirated releases from China actually sound much better than the official releases. I also scratch head.. Haha

i also heard about this pirated drops from China, but haven't had the chance to see or listen to them, the thing is they sometimes market it as "official releases", so quite hard to find.
