some of you may have noticed in other threads, i had mentioned the emerging trend of RGB backlighting in either regular sized LED diode or miniLED thru several marques in development and plan.
locally, TCL make their RGB-miniLED product reveal in the recent ITShow.
SONY recently make their debut in China's AWE2026.

PHILIPS most recent launch of their 100inch QD-miniLED comes with a price...

...that rocks the market where such specification of QD-miniLED + on-board multi-channel surround sound processing, would logically sparks speculation that what's coming up next in their offering that would generate more interests?

the news is out, PHILIPS launches their first RGB-miniLED in European market.
for the moment, only 85inch is offered from PHILIPS. other sizes availability to be determined in later dates, perhaps depending on demand. locally, not much clear sign yet in the registry of NEA Energy Efficiency Certification page yet, but there are signs that SAMSUNG, LG and SONY had their product listings that suspiciously seems to be RGB-miniLED TVs.

and as described by Vincent, no matter how each makers describe...
...these are eventually the same, a miniLED diode split into 3 separate color LED for better control of primary color lights.
what we see, are just marketing terms.
