Having played the original Halo many years ago, I thought I'd give the latest one, Halo Infinite, a try. I'm not into multiplayer (just too slow compared to all the kids now), so only doing the campaign. While I played Halo on Legendary, life is too short, and no way was I going to do it now, so I'm just on Normal.
The game is centred on the Master Chief as usual, and it retains a lot of the look and feel of the original Halo. The only downside is that the story line can be fully appreciated only if you've played the other Halos, which I haven't. So there's some history about what happened with Cortana, but I was a bit lost. Still, no one is playing the game for the story line, so it's not a big deal.
Haven't finished the campaign yet, but I think I'm getting to the final stages. I find Normal a bit easy in parts, but horribly difficult in some of the later boss battles. If you enjoyed Halo, I think you'll quite like Halo Infinite.
