Folks, anyone here done locally made custom speaker stands before?
I'm considering a speaker that is 60kg in weight, and the manufacturer does not have a stand to go with it. The K&M stand that can carry that speaker is a bit tall and has slight tipping risk.
The design in my mind is 4 pillars with top plate and bottom plate. The top plate must be capable of carrying 80kg load. Bonus is to have the stand on 4 lockable non-marking wheels (so that it's easier to play with positioning and toe-in).
If you have made customer speaker stands before or know of any shop that can do so, feel free to share. Thanks in advance for any info.
