probably... after looking into details of the product ASIN number
https://www.amazon.sg/UBP-X800-UBP-UX80-Blu-ray-110-240-Dynastar/dp/B077MP1NKY/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1SM81XC5G2HXN&keywords=x800m2&qid=1664287493&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIxLjQwIiwicXNhIjoiMC4wMCIsInFzcCI6IjAuMDAifQ%3D%3D&s=electronics&sprefix=x800%2Bm%2Celectronics%2C532&sr=1-5&th=1
...it seems that the listing title is kind of misleading.

anyway, i still suggest to go thru TPS, taking advantage of SGD now rising against Pound in X-rates for better deal.

we can get our best deal now from TPS UK, with shipment cost in, X-rates Bank charges, @SGD$700 +/-$10... not to forget the later GST charge...
that could eventually ends up roughly $730~745.
Did anyone actually bought from them before? I guess this is a better Option cos it?s the same voltage as ours and no need to convert. If anyone has bought from them, would you mind share the experience as well as how long it takes to ship over. Thank you.

Ehh... i dunno at what rate you made the order, that's why it takes me some time to reply to you. just FYI,

...GBP drops against SGD again, and it may be continue to do so in the next few days until the start of new year.
fellow members who intend to order your set of 4K player from TPS UK, you'll be charged 8% GST in January as the delivery time it takes to reach the shore will certainly be 2023. so... it's either we wait for the dropping point to go further down, or place order now as the X-rate is full of uncertainties.

it was after some investigation, the fault falls on my cards where i had set the purchase limits that the transaction was made after i make my big ticket furnishing payment on the same day. by the time the confusion cleared, i realize that my budget goes tight for any overseas purchase... so... probably have to wait.

I see.  after calculating the price of the UB820 is almost near to $900 SGD i guess (inclusive of shipping + GST).  Gone were the days that we can buy physical player at a cheaper price.  ;D

the only time when the UB820 can get really affordable... is when SGD$1 can change 75pence.
then when that time comes, majority would be buying elsewhere from other European E-tailers who're able to ship to SG.

This is probably brought in to feed small demands who can afford the price tag...

...it's just interesting what does the Seller's 2yrs warranty cover?
u fellas must have saw the UB9K from Anson... so far i know the only one carries the same stock as TPS, or probably TPS supplied.
assuming that they brought in from UK @ ?1060(where ?60 is the shipping cost for over 10KG weight),
base on current state of X-rate, with Bank impose X-rate interest...
?1060/?0.6=SGD$1767
add in GST, @ current state of 8%=1767x1.08= SGD$1900 approx.

eventually it's self import @$1900 w/out warranty
vs
Anson import @$3200 w/3yrs warranty**
**as offered from TPS.
