...not expected as high as what i've earlier speculated to be around $6k, but roughly $5k surprisingly considering that this model employed Pentonic 700-MT9618 SoC with HiSense's Picture Engine.

below are the key attractions to the hardware.

price leaked over @ Courts side, shows that they're trying to get the price close to PRISM+ model that may win in the Audio performance thru inbuilt multi-channel speakers, but not competitive in Video field... certainly not price matching.

could this be a "sign"...

...not about clearing stock for new replacement model,
but something BIGGER ?

asking @ $6k! this would be a direct challenge to Samsung as well as TCL!
making PRISM+ and HiSense QLED 100" model look lower class to consumers!

here's a glance at the general specs...
3d29474addda68e92e941b79b77a2aa7.png_700x700q80.png_.webp

3yrs warranty where 1st year gets full coverage, together 2nd and 3rd year partially covered with labor and transportation, but PANEL and BACKLIGHT not included.

hmmm... if i'm a buyer for such Gigantic Display, my best bet will likely be...
erhem... we'll see how the price will drop, when Aiwa 98incher don't get much response!

close 100incher coming from AiWa!
... ... ... ... ...
the possible aesthetic look on the model, if the local model is the same as what's selling in China.
now that the model is listed for sale... for the moment available thru Lazada,
with the attached photo in the product page...

...i can confirm that the 98incher sold here is the same as what is sold in China domestic market with a different AIWA badge. in fact, the AIWA webOS TV is now made by a company known as NPC, based in GuangZhou.

XiaoMI's Official 100incher assessed and listed in NEA's Energy Efficiency page!

panel refresh rate spec is 60Hz, with QLED layer,
with MEMC engaged refresh rate could go as high as 120Hz.
xiaomi-smart-di_multi_0_936_1020.png.webp

on the audio department, the TV is fitted with 2.1ch drivers.
hence, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X is processed virtually.

should the specifications is no difference to what is currently sold in Vietnam,
this will likely draw attentions from both PRISM+ and Hisense lookers eyeing on both 100inch budget models,
with more competitive price base on specs and brand "value".

likely a knee-jerk reaction to TCL's offering...
ef72c67faafec9bab4def2868537c8099214c628.png

...that wouldn't last long and stays permanently.
anyway, the offered price reflects how much additional 2yrs warranty may cost to be bear by buyers, in current stage.
interested buyers can only hope that "close to 100" makes could go lower next year as "close to 100" panel and glass cutting techniques get matured year by year.

the first 100incher from Samsung gets assessed and scores 4 ticks in energy efficiency from NEA's Energy Efficiency department!
when it's slapped with Samsung badge, and probably with miniLED backlight tech... the price is likely to break 4 digit figures. so, it would make a little more sense to look at other marques which don't go that far to reach.

the ODM maker for AIWA range of TVs had recently produced a 100inch QLED model which packs Novatek SoC that is utilized in European market PHILIPS TV models, but yet to show up in either NEA or CPSA records.
no sign of AIWA SG plan observed yet, to bring in such "Giant" as AIWA already had their smaller 98incher in local scene for a certain period.

to take on 100inch makes in the market lead by HiSense and PRISM+, parallel importer SEVAMALL brought in XiaoMi's 100inch make with $3.6k price tag but with 1yr seller's warranty coverage to potential seeking cheapest entry into the world of GIANT SCENE.
9e678c12332d0275f750d76cad8f279e.jpg_700x700q75.jpg_.webp
months later, XiaoMI brought in their official stock, priced a 100 lower than parallel importer as well as full 3yrs warranty coverage, making this model the lowest priced 100incher in the market.

how will other competitors go, it'll be interesting to see.
first... how will AIWA join in the game.
