the Atmos clip's are Superb!!
i tested both the Atmos and Auro3D clips..
try out this particular track called

"Music Machine Two"​

And u can definitely hear the difference between Atmos and Auro3D
(But not really a fair comparison as it was mixed and mastered by 2 totally different Sound Engineer's!!)

that track above show's what Denon AVR's can do magic with "Directional Subwoofer Playback"
Damn!! Wow!!!

(But i also think you will need 4 Subwoofers to get that "FEEL")
i do have 4 sub's connected so it was Bloody Awesome!!

i think the link he posted is the same as yours.
so far only one member responded with issue encountered. i don't see any solution yet. so... i don't think many members may have updated hardwares to do that. not to mention DTSX from streaming sources.

yes, correct.
that setting in denon's must be input correctly for Auro3D to work.
