Decided to get a 3D Printer.  Think I will try UV Resin.  Pulled the trigger after I found that Elegoo Saturn is now stocked in Singapore.

My HD Fury lies flat on my rack and I have a hard time switching the inputs and reading the screen.

So, the first project will be the wall mount for my HD Fury Vertex.  The STL file is for the Diva but the dimensions and the casing seems to be the same.

I am still very busy with my existing tasks.  I have not unwrap my 3D printer yet.

My first and second printing jobs on my new printer were disasters.

The frame supports printed perfectly but the target objects failed to be lifted.  Accuracy and linear portions were well-off.

It took me a while to realized that the slicing program didn't know the characteristic of my resin and I need to set the exposure time 5 folds before I got it right finally.

......... and then I realize I ran out of resin!!  Another 2 litres will be delivering today.

The one on the right was from the second printing, out of shape and lacks accuracy.

Buy 3D printer, must use use of it to improve Hi-Fi mah.

My Avalon speakers came with spikes but DJQ want me to try FE Cerabase.  The Avalon comes with 3 circular slots (36mm) at the bottom to hold onto the spikes but the FE Carabase footers have a 45mm circular base. Ah!!  Now I got 3D printer, it's time to put it into good use.

The post above shows my Version 1 and Version 2 of these adapters, very poor finish.

This is version 4 of my speakers footer adapters.

Finally, I got it right!

Pretty hor?  Like Raspberry Jelly.

Washing in the washer.  This time, I used Isopropyl Alcohol, though the resin is water washable.

UV curing of the completed footer adapters, first batch.

First batch of 3 finished.  The 2 pieces you see at the rear are the Version 3.  Not so nice.

Mounted and sounds fantastic now.

I am so happy now!!

Thanks DJQ for convincing me and loaning me the footers.  It certainly made the difference.
