When I saw this, I didn't pay much attention because I knew she had other "Red" albums. I thought this was a re-issue of her "Red album" with a new cover.


First a disclaimer, my music taste is not for everyone.

In this "Red Songs" album, track 7 (望星空) is my current favorite. This is the most expressive and emotion song I ever heard from any Chinese singer. Last night, the gold bullet in the Powercell Power Cord really show off how great this recording is.

I don't know her. I doubt she know me. But I can meet her with full certainty because she is probably the most hardworking singer I ever met, she seems to be always appearing at every yearly Guangzhou and Hong Kong Shows. Singers would come to Audio Shows to promote /sign their CD / Vinyl would just stay for an hour or two. During the 2025 Hong Kong show, she was at their CD booth everytime I walked past.

The only time I chatted with her was many years ago, after she released her 3rd Cantonese album. I told her, "You sounds better with Cantonese Songs", which she denied in Mandarin, "It's so happens that Cantonese songs sound nicer, it's the songs". Perhaps, she was just trying to be humble. Her newly released 4th Cantonese album, 3 weeks ago, just confirmed my impression. Her vocal on it was simply controlled, very well textured and emotional.

Oh, I won't feel embarrassed asking about her age. I just show her your post. The blame and embarrassment's on you.

You can tell her that everyone in the forum is completely in love with her voice and artistry. What leaves us amazed is how someone so young can sing with such depth, maturity, and mastery. We all know it’s pure talent, not age… but when you finally met her in person, you couldn’t help but reconfirm: “Wait a second—how old are you really?”

I have seen so many buayas pouring praises...like ""You're the best singer in the world"....and she held a straight face knowing how fake the compliment is.

Let me seize the next opportunity and ask her age on your behalf without being rude or fake.

Nope, I failed in my mission.

Anyone would fail. As expected, she stayed in the FengLim Room throughout the whole 3 days at the 2025 Guangxhou Highend show. I hardly seen her unoccupied or unengaged. 100% commicating with her fans. I bought my CDs during Friday's morning, when everyone was flocking in, seeing her so busy, I left to collect them in the laste afternoon (show closes at 5pm).

When I returned late afternoon to collect my signed CD, I was glad that she wasn't around, it must have been extremely tiring....but no, she suddenly turned up behind me and took a picture with me. Nobody would be able to do when you were asking me , I am sure. Again, more fans flocked in.

This is a BIG Audio Hi-end show and 80-90% of the rooms / booths were using her tracks as demo material.

By the way, if you are in Guangzhou, make sure you catch her concert on the 17 Jan 2026.
